Pragmatická potřeba zprůhlednění vztahů mezi mikroekonomií, podnikovou ekonomikou, naukou o podnikání a obchodním právem

Abstract: Both the business community and the academic world ask the question: what is the chief purpose of a business entity? As business and economic terminology increasingly enter the vernacular, and vice versa, confusion as to technical usage mounts. Vernacular and non-economic concepts are being used in applied economic theory and practice. Are persons working in a SOHO (small office/home office) entrepreneurs, self-employed or employees? Is a small economic unit — such as a small venture or a husband-and-wife partnership — to be considered an enterprise, firm, corporation?
